GroundWorks Manager
Landscaping companies run on weather, crews and dozens of parallel jobs — and usually on paper, phone calls and one overloaded owner. GroundWorks Manager puts projects, gardens, people and money in one system that works in the field, not just in the office.
- Projects and jobs: from quote to sign-off, with photos and notes from site
- Gardens and clients: full history of every property you maintain
- Crews and scheduling: who works where tomorrow, visible to everyone
- Quotes and invoicing: priced from real job data, not guesswork
We built GroundWorks Manager in-house for the landscaping industry, and not from a distance: our founder spent eight years doing this work before writing software for it. Rain-cancelled days, crews split across sites, quotes that depend on soil, access and plant choices — the product is shaped by the trade itself and by conversations with the companies that live it. That field-first origin shows on every screen: big touch targets, designed to keep working on a weak signal, quick on a phone in a van.
For Automated Forge clients the product is also proof: this is what we mean by custom software. The same discipline — small releases, boring reliable tech, software shaped around the actual work — is how we build systems for other industries, from trades to clinics to e-commerce.
