Custom software vs off-the-shelf — when is custom worth it?
When your process is your advantage, or when you are paying for several tools that still need spreadsheets to hold them together. If a ready-made program on a small monthly subscription covers 95% of what you need, we will tell you to buy that instead — we would rather lose the project than sell you something you do not need.
Who owns the code?
You do. Full source code and infrastructure access are handed over; you can continue with us or with any other developer.
How do you price custom software?
Fixed price per agreed milestone, starting from £1,000 for a small tool — the range is wide because scope is: a single internal tool and a full platform are different projects. Each milestone is working software you can test, so you never pay for promises.
